Why WHY?
Imagine if you asked yourself this question before doing anything.
The starting point for any business or marketing plan is with YOU!
People don’t care much about what we do for a living, or how we operate until they know what drives us. Do you notice that most of the people we meet, talk to us only about what they do, but they never explain Why.
What we care about is why you put your feet on the floor every morning and do what you do each day. There can be so many reasons, and only you know what they are. But does the rest of the world?
Who you are, what you stand for, and what you are trying to create, help determine everything else in your business.
Who your customers will be, How your company should behave, Why people should engage with your business.
You may have heard this referred to as your “WHY”. That’s certainly part of it, but it goes much deeper than that.
What I’m talking about is something much deeper which we call here in Asentiv as your Emotionally Charged Connection® (ECC) to your business. When you find it, you can be very effective and deliberate in attracting clients to you who resonate with your message and fall in line with who you want to do business with…Your Target Market.
The ECC is what sets you apart from other competitors in your industry. Prospects identify themselves and naturally come to you. Finding your Emotionally Charged Connection® will also help you connect with people at an entirely different level that will result in better, more loyal clients.
Your ECC in turn will create extra time to do the things that are important to you, by eliminating the wasted time you are now spending on prospects that are unproductive for you. You will connect with people at an emotional level, speaking to their heart, rather than trying to connect with them in areas that really have little meaning or effectiveness like service, price, or other features that are easily competed with.
So…Why do you do what you do? I’d like to hear your answer. Comment in the section below and engage with the topic.
