Do not underestimate the power of an introduction.
I see too many business owners and sales teams spending all their time prospecting clients day in and day out. This is a form of growth and don’t get me wrong…it works…but leveraging off someone else’s relationship is a much better way to obtain growth.
There are many terms to describe this activity, referrals, Referral marketing, word of mouth…but the fact remains…People are more likely to do business with you, stay with you, buy more from you, and recommend you…if they are introduced in the correct way to you.
My advice to all business owners looking to get more clients, is this…
1. Find out who your target market is.
2. Put a list of target market clients together.
3. Ask your network to introduce you to them.
Show me any business who would not benefit from a personally recommended prospect.
I can tell you one thing for sure…the people you want to do business with…are known by your network.
